Some tvshows are not seen.... - stapper56 - 2019-06-03 hello, I'm new to kodi, so please keep that in mind I did some configuration, because I am using a NAS, and with NFS shares it is working like a charm So far so good... I made a folder for movies and a folder for Tv shows Movies are all "seen" and no problem at all, but tv shows is another matter. Most tv shows where seen, so I left that ones alone there ok. But for example game of thrones was not seen, so I looked in the wiki and renamed it and put it back on the server.. In the folder for tf shows, i made a subfolder called game of thrones, in that one a subfolder game of thrones S01 and in that one the episodes like game of thrones S01E01, game of thrones S01E02 and so on... I went to kodi and updated the library no game of thrones I looked at the site of the scraper and it was there of course Here is the log: https://paste.kodi.tv/paguruqulu what"s causing the problem? Why is game of thrones not seen? Please help.... best regards, RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - Karellen - 2019-06-03 @stapper56 It is possible you uploaded the wrong log. It is very, very short and debug mode was not enabled in Settings>System Settings>Logging. Can you follow the Easy method... Debug Log Before you try the log, do the following as you may be getting caught out because the TV Show is already in your library but empty. Remove the existing entry from your library.
Are you using NFO Files? RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - stapper56 - 2019-06-03 Hello Karellen, I hope i got everything right... removed library with the debug on.... and let it scan again game of thrones is still not there... https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/tFspXZT5BJ/ Thanks for the help ! RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - Karellen - 2019-06-03 Yep, that is right. You have NFO Files in the folder for Game of Thrones. The NFO Files are not compatible and interfering with the scanning/scraping process. Call up the Information Page for Game of Thrones Select Refresh Answer Yes when asked to "ignore and refresh from internet..." Select the correct tv show from the offered list and all episodes should scrape. It will also be wise to delete your NFO Files. RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - stapper56 - 2019-06-03 Hello Karellen, Thanks for the help, but I don't understand what you mean? In that folder I only have the movie and a .srt with the same title I thought NFO files where files that where used to point kodi in a direction with metatags? I never used them..... You say call up the information page for game of thrones? But kodi does not see game of thrones folder at all, how then will I be able to call up the information page? I'm sorry but can you pass a link or explain that step in a little more detail? best regards. RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - Karellen - 2019-06-03 Sure, no problems. Did you enable the setting 3.6 Show empty TV shows as I described a couple of posts ago? Because it looks like the TV Show is in the library, but no episodes. Once you enable that setting, the empty tv show will appear in the library. Then you can use the Refresh option... https://kodi.wiki/view/Basic_controls#Information_Page Provide a screenshot of your folder, maybe I might be able to spot which file is the culprit. Ensure file extensions are visible. RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - stapper56 - 2019-06-03 ok, searched a bit more... i went to main menu video's then files, then tv shows over there I found game of thrones... ( that one was new for me) Then to information refresh... I get thee question, information epsiodes refresh, i choose yes next question is about local info and to get that again.... i choose yes i get a dropdown menu with 5 options... fist one is game of thrones (2011) which would me the correct one.. click on it and I get a page with game of thrones broadcasting not available.... did you ment it like that? RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - Karellen - 2019-06-03 (2019-06-03, 22:22)stapper56 Wrote: i went to main menu video's then files, then tv showsYes, all that is correct. (2019-06-03, 22:22)stapper56 Wrote: click on it and I get a page with game of thrones broadcasting not available....This I do not understand. Can you post a screenshot of that message. RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - stapper56 - 2019-06-04 Good morning, After I get the option of 5, I take game of thrones 2011 which is in my opinion the correct one I see it is getting the info from the internet.... And then i get a screen as follows: Game of trones cast not available no information available Sorry I had it on Dutch changed the language back to English. I hope you know what I mean now else i make a screenshot. I don't know if this has something to do with the fact that I changed in advancedsettings.xml the location of the database to a SQL database on my NAS? tvheadend client is also not working, no problem to me, but I think that's because I still have to change the IP number and maybe the port number. But that's another question for another topic I think. one thing is bothering me, maybe you can explain it to me? You asked if I was using NFO files? i was under the impression that those where files with meta tags? I never used them... Is kodi writing NFO files by its self? Or is that not the question? To answer your question about show all items entry.. I did the settings exactly as in the picture that article provided. best regards. RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - Karellen - 2019-06-04 (2019-06-04, 08:07)stapper56 Wrote: After I get the option of 5, I take game of thrones 2011 which is in my opinion the correct oneSorry but I will need a screenshot. I have never seen a "cast not available" message, nor have I seen "broadcasting not available" message. It is also important that while you repeat the steps to create those messages, that you also create the Debug Log at the same time, so I can match the screenshot with what is in the log. (2019-06-04, 08:07)stapper56 Wrote: You asked if I was using NFO files? i was under the impression that those where files with meta tags?Yes, they contain the meta information. No, Kodi does not write them automatically. You have to run the Import-export library (wiki) function. I think you have some other software running that is creating them without you knowing. If you are using something like sickbeard, sickrage, radarr, sonarr, filebot or one of many others, they create the nfo files. (2019-06-04, 08:07)stapper56 Wrote: I did the settings exactly as in the picture that article provided. The image shows the setting disabled. You have to enable it. RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - stapper56 - 2019-06-04 https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/zTn3xKKdHv/ I hope it's okay this way.. best regards RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - Karellen - 2019-06-04 You are talking about the Information Page, not a pop-up message. You still have that setting disabled. Just Enable it. Then go into your library and delete Game of Thrones if it is there. Much clearer in the log now. It is not an NFO problem. The problem is that your MySQL database has an error as shown here from line 1316...
The error is explained here... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=340933 The error is also explained here with a solution... https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/issues/15768 RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - stapper56 - 2019-06-04 I had it on but I got confused lol,,, enabled again. Wauw, you can read a log really well.. I read it briefly to get the picture. So some tv Shows have to much info? And then there's not enough room for a field in the database. In this case game of thrones is one of those... I know how to make a database.. Have some site's running with SQL,,, hobby. But when it comes to changing something in SQL.. that's another story.. Anyway's I think you found it, thanks in advance ! I will dive into it and let you know later if it solved the problem. I like kodi and this forum more and more, thanks ! RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - stapper56 - 2019-06-05 ok I studied it a little bit... See a few solutions i think, but not how to do it... My know how in SQL is not very good.. Can you explain what it is I have to do to solve the problem? best regards, RE: Some tvshows are not seen.... - Karellen - 2019-06-05 (2019-06-04, 12:51)stapper56 Wrote: So some tv Shows have to much info? It is the very, very popular shows and movies. I think one of the Star Wars movies has the same problem. It is only MySQL that has this problem, the standard Kodi DB does not have this problem. (2019-06-05, 10:29)stapper56 Wrote: Can you explain what it is I have to do to solve the problem?Sorry, I cannot explain as I don't use MySQL. Maybe someone will come along and write the steps out. I can give you an easier solution though. This is my NFO File for Game of Thrones. I have cut out half the artwork links, so it should work for you Use this one if your scraper is TheMovieDB-TV Shows... https://paste.kodi.tv/ikatokowif
Use this one if your scraper is TheTVDB.com... https://pastebin.com/hM1HH4jQ 1. Create a txt file and name it tvshow.nfo 2. Copy the contents of the link into the new file 3. Save the new file... nfs://192.168.0.22/volume1/film/series/game of thrones/tvshow.nfo 4. Make sure you have deleted the Game of Thrones entry from the library 5. Re-scrape. Let us know if that works. |
