Does adding one movie to a set cause all movies in the set to be updated? - badbob001 - 2019-06-16
I added a few new movies to existing sets and that resulted in over a hundred pending tasks. So does EMM have to update the nfo file for all movies in the set for every add or remove from the set? Or can it track the actual changes in the set and only update the nfo file of the related movies?
I have submitted a feature request for adding an option in the movies tab for adding/removing movies to/from sets:

In Movies tab, have an 'add to movie set' menu option
In the Movies tab, one can see if a movie is in a movie set or not, but there is no option to add (or remove) a movie from its movie set. This potentially would be better than making the change in the 'Sets' tab because only the nfo file of the updated movie needs to be changed with the new movie set data; making the same change in the movie set tab seems to make EMM update the nfo file of all movies in the set.
The menu option can be modeled after Edit Genres and Edit Tags format but obvious with only the 'set' and 'remove' option.
