Wake on LAN Feature - ThoKi - 2019-08-19
Hi,
I'm running KODI in a client-server environment. At the moment I've to wake up my server (PC) manually when I'd like to watch TV on client.
Is there any way to send a WOL command automatically when accessing Live TV ?

There is some WOL option, but I'm not sure if it is also triggered via LiveTV.

Built-in WOL option does not support LiveTV. Only VFS and MySQL
(MySQL is for shared database setups, VFS is Kodi's 'virtual file system' which is the base for most media access - the big exception is LiveTV)

I've just checked the plugin "Advanced_Wake_On_Lan" but it's not exactly what i expected.
Would be nice to integrate a WOL function in the PVR addin (featurerequest ;-)
