Movie studio information lags behind? - Cinephile - 2019-09-05
Strange title, I know.
Movie studio information (Lionsgate, etc.) often takes a couple seconds to appear when browsing through the library. All other text fields are immediately populated but studio information appears to be requested from an external source before being displayed on screen (at least that’s what it looks like).
Refer to my signature for skin and hardware details.
I regularly export (and overwrite) .nfo files via Kodi’s export function. Studio information is captured along with all the rest of it. But still there is this lag that I can’t narrow down. Menu navigation and scrolling is perfect otherwise - snappy and virtually no load times even with 2160p fanart.
Any ideas?

Probably being loaded by a script hence the delay.

Script as in skin engine doing something in the background?
