Hi all,
Two questions for anyone who might be able to help. I've read through the Wiki, but haven't found anything that addresses the first issue, at least.
For starters, I'm using the PC version of XBMC, under 64-bit Vista. It runs pretty smoothly, but whenever I play a video (of any type), it is in black and white! Everything else is in full color, even the thumbnails of the episodes. My video card is an NVIDIA 8800GTS 512, with the latest drivers.
The second issue relates to TV Shows using Poster images. I'm able to get the TVDB scraper to pull down banner images and fanart, which is awesome. But I can't seem to get it to display poster images. I know they're there- for example, I've got the file "E:\xbmc\XBMC\UserData\Thumbnails\Video\c\cd670b75.tbn", which is a poster image for Season 4 of the TV show "Weeds". However, when I use the Aeon skin, it still tries to use the banner image, which ends up getting totally squished. Is there somewhere I can tell the program to use Poster images there, or somewhere that I need to define a path to that image?
As it turns out I've got a third question too.. hope you don't mind. The Weather function works, but I get no icons (clouds, sun, etc). I found the weather.rar file under the Media folder which seems to contain them- do I need to extract those files somewhere?
If I've overlooked something in the Wiki, please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

It of course could be a NVIDIA graphic device driver issue but it really sound like you are using the DirectX version of XBMC and not the SDL/OpenGL version of XBMC like you should, so I am going to assume that you are (since you posted in the wrong forum and all). Please delete the version you have nów then download the latest XBMC for Windows from our SourceForge project site and install it, if you still have problems get post a debug log on a pastebin service and the URL here (search the manual for "Debug Log").
As for your poster/banner/weather/icon/thumbnail issues, with the latest version of XBMC for Windows, please try the default PM3 skin, if the problem excist there then we can help you in thís forum, if not then you need to address the author of the AEON skin topic-thread in the skin development forum.

Thank you, I'll get the OpenGL/SDL version and give that a shot.
