Add New Category to Main Menu - aceuk - 2019-10-04
How do I add a new catrgory to the Main Menu in MQ8.
I want one to say MUSIC VIDEOS
Do the files all have to be in one folder called Mvids ( I read somewhere)

Settings, submenu Customize Main Menu, Go to the first empty item, use replace function choose one item in the right list.

Selected video node and added a rule to separate music videos from concerts
How do I change it's position in the menu . I would like it to show after Concerts , so it would be category number 4.

Replace function work for any item in the main menu (including default items), only need replace where you prefer.

So do you mean replace music which is in position 4 with music videos. By replacing do you mean changing the function and name of the music category. If not I don't follow what you are saying

Yes, after choose other position to music item. On the right list you have the same default items, so its easy change one to other.

Can I replace music if it already has files in it . Will I have to reload them

its only change position, don't change nothing in your library.
