Need help with artwork on sony tv from kodi on pc - rickyprice - 2019-11-04

Hi, I have had kodi on my windows 10 OS on my pc for a long time and I have just got a new sony bravia tv. I have installed kodi on the tv and am trying to get my kodi to scrape the artwork from my pc. How I have thing set up on my pc im also trying to do on the tv.  I have it so I have a 'Movies' 'Kids Movies' 'Christmas Movies' so my movies are in the movies, my kids movies are in kids movies, and obvs christmas movies are in christmas movies. This works all good on my pc with no problem at all. however doing the same setup on my tv I am getting no artwork at all and i have no option at all the scrape artwork. Could anyone help me out here please? Thank you.

so on my pc I have a hdd G drive which has kids movies in, D drive which has movies in and E drive which has christmas movies in, I have created separate menus labelled as in my post comment, I have added videos directing to each path per menu. on my tv, for the movies menu, i have clicked it then gone to then clicked files - add videos - browse - UPnp devices - Kodi(desktop-1OECFFP) <----that is my pc's kodi - vdieo library - files - movies - OK - then renamed it movies.

This creates the menu with everything from my movies folder but no artwork.

uPNP does not work on the library. It is a file browser only. Read first two lines here... https://kodi.wiki/view/UPnP/Media_source

You need to set up proper network sharing. Might help... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=331989&pid=2736119#pid2736119

UPnp does work when all movies are in 1 folder, and your only using 1 movies menu, you then get artwork. but it doesnt when having multiple movie folders and multiple movie menus as i have to go through to sources to find the separate folders, this makes the movies go in without artwork, if i just go to titles it puts all movies in attached to my original kodi on the pc. was hoping there was a work around for it.
