Any plans on backporting FFMpeg/VDPAU VP9 decode? - tecfreak - 2019-11-20 Are there any plans on backporting FFMpeg/VDPAU VP9 decode that has been part of libvdpau for several months now and recently got enabled by nvidia in their recent driver updates and is now supported by ffmpeg? It would be nice to have this feature, especially when you watch YT content that is >1080p and the cpu isn't fast enough for a soft-decode.
