Alternative to profiles? - Numiah - 2019-12-09
Hey peeps.
Since two days I finally switched from 17.6 to 18.5 (3 x Vero 4+)
Only to find out profiles is kinda broken and not really being fixed.
Which in turn is understandable.
Switching profiles works 50% of the time.
atm I used two profiles Adults and Kids, each with their own sources.
What would be the best way to keep things separated? I don't want my kids to watch my 16+ movies.
And also I don't need to see their Disney films.
Also we both have totally different menu structures and skins.

you can turn menu off in settings

Okay, sorry I misread your first answer. I thought you were just plugging your new skin
Not sure if I wish to switch from MQ8 to something else yet.
Was really hoping to separate things just like it was possible with profiles.
Just having different menu's isn't enough imho.
What happens if I turn off "Kids"? Do I need to turn it on (and Adults off) when the kids want to use Kodi?

am slowley working out how to lock it down at this point i have it so you can lock it down to kids page enter pin to show all but a full lock down would need a rewrite to menus to link to rated playlists https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?pid=2917041#pid2917041
