Kodi Estuary Mod Skin Settings Backup - themusj - 2020-01-03

I am running the skin estuary mod and was wondering how I can back it up so I don't have to build it from scratch in the event of a system failure. The Backup add-on does not include them and the Skin Helper Service Backup apparently is no longer supported for Android {from what a post shared and the fact it errors out on my devices.}

I don't mind copying it manually. Just need to know which or where the files are and location.

Thanking you in advance!

The skin should be storing it's settings within its folder in the addon_data folder of your userdata (wiki) folder. The actual GUI settings are in the guisettings.xml file, which is in the root of your userdata (wiki) folder along with several other xml's which are worth backing up.

That add_on data folder should be where all addons store their information, in their relevant sub-folders.

The location for the backup settings must not be true anymore. :-(

I had to reset my skin's customized menu back as a test. The Favourites showed up a normal. So to conclude my test, I tried as you suggested to copy over the settings back. Both the GUI and the MODV2 folder. No luck, everything I customized is gone! I even copied over the entire Add-on Folder.

Back to square one. No fun.

There's been no change as far as I'm aware. As there will be 2 MODV2 folders, one under addons and one under addon_data, did you copy and restore both folders.
