unable to add Movie manually - beta-tester - 2020-01-19 hello, i have LibreELEC with Kodi 18.5 on my Raspberry Pi running. recently i made a fresh installation without using my old Kodi databases / libraries. so all movies, i have, were added to the Kodi database / library except of one, that wasn't added by the scrapper. the movie that wasn't added has the title and filename "The Colour of Magic (2008)". it wasn't added by using "TheMovieDb scrapper" nor "Universal scrapper". i tried to find the movie on the webpage and there is was found The Colour of Magic (2008). then i realised that the movie "The Colour of Magic (2008)" on the webpage has moved from the category "Movies" to the category "TV Shows". in the past, years ago, the movie was successfully added to my movies library. i guess it wasn't added now, because of the changed category of the movie on the webpage. but even when i change the scrapper settings from "Movie" to "TV Shows" in Kodi for the path, where the file is stored, nothing will be added (not to Movies and not to TV Shows). i also tried to add the files manually to the library by using the option "Scan to Library". in "Movies" mode, i can enter the name "The Color of Magic" manually, but nothing were found. in "TV Shows" mode i even don't get the choice to enter a specific name, in case nothing were found unter its filename automatically. so my question is, how can i add a movie "manually" to the database / library. RE: unable to add Movie manually - Karellen - 2020-01-19 A couple of years ago, TheMovieDB reclassified mini-series as tv shows. Your movie certainly falls into that category as it has two episodes. If you simply just moved your folder from movies to tv shows, of course it won't work. You need to set it up like a tv show, so the episodes need to be renamed. eg The Colour of Magic S01E01 and The Colour of Magic S01E02 Or if you have both episodes as one file... The Colour of Magic S01E01E02 RE: unable to add Movie manually - beta-tester - 2020-01-19 (2020-01-19, 22:07)Karellen Wrote: A couple of years ago, TheMovieDB reclassified mini-series as tv shows. BTW: strange, that "The Colour of Magic" is in category TV show, but "Hogfather" is in Movies - Hogfather (2007). it is the same kind of movie / tv show, also has two parts / episodes. Hogfather is scraped as a TV show when placed in the TV Show source folder. See here... https://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_files/TV_shows this all is very different to the movies... now, i changed all my folder structures as well, and it works!!! BTW: but the strange thing is, with the old namings i used before, i took a look to the SQLite database of MyMovies116.db itself, if i can find something of the title "The Colour of Magic", because the scanning looked like it was catched the title correctly and i also tried to manually add the title as well, and i didn't got asked for entering the name, like it happens, when a title wasn'd found... and i found the title and all its date in the episodes table (with full description [c01], thumbnail link [c06], ...)... why it wasn't shown up? ... anyhow now with the correct naming of files and folders it works. Thank you all for your help. |
