2 minute lag on Fritzbox NAS playback of first file after power on - tecc - 2020-04-18

I'm using Kodi with CoreELEC on 2 standalones with an S905x chip and everything so far is working just fine doing playing back files from local USB media. There's currently two "NAS" in my network:

a) Fritzbox with a 1 TB 2.5" HDD attached via USB3
b) WD MyNetN900C (internal 1 TB HDD)

to each of which Kodi connects via SMB1. I can connect to both NAS from my Win 10 PC (SMB1 installed) and read files from them with ~13 MB/s. However, when I play back any kind of file (mp3, mkv) from the Fritzbox after powering on the standalone, it takes ~2 minutes till I hear/see anything. Once this file hast started playing back, I can seek inside without any issues. All other files played back after that (and even that very first file), start instanteneously as happens when playing back files from b).

I can reproduce this with a simple reboot. When Kodi's up and running again, the first file played from the Fritzbox NAS takes 2 minutes again to start. WTF?

Sure, that always helps.

Are you using hostnames or IP addresses when pointing to your file locations?
How about a debug log (wiki) for the initial trouble shooting?

Any chance that you already asked this on the CoreELEC forum..? Which would make sense.

I've tried both IPs and host names but it made no difference. I've also tried this on LibreELEC and CoreELEC so I assume this forum is better suited. I've posted the log here but of course the 3 times I tried this in a row (with rebooting) today, the behaviour is somewhat different. Instead of playing back the first file after 2 minutes, the rotating cirlce stops after 2 minutes and I still see the filelist without anything else happening. Now when I press OK on the very same file again, it plays back immediately.
