CEC Configuration. Differensheate between Exit and Shutdown - kingsize - 2020-10-21 Hello community. I've been using a USB CEC adapter from Plue-Eight for some time now and it works grate. My issue is that I also use this setup for gaming and thus use a steam launcher plugin. I've found that for best results it's best that the plugin exits kodi and then lunches steam. The annoying thing is that this tells my CEC adapter to turn off the TV and AV each time. This also happens when selecting exit instead of shutdown from the main kodi menu. So is it possible to change the behaviour so that exit dose just that and exits back to desktop with out turning every thing off? Or should I be pointing this question at Pulse-Eight? Thanks in advance for any answers or pointing in the right direction. RE: CEC Configuration. There's the options: Devices to power on during startup Devices to power off during shutdown I think what I'm really after is a third option to do with Exit instead of just the Shutdown. As the shutdown settings seems to cover both "Power off System" and "Exit" options from the main kodi menu. I would think its possible to have a third option as I've noticed the Restart option dose not power down the TV and AV. |
