Case sensitivity issue - fr1day - 2020-11-02 Yesterday I changed the name of a movie folder from "North By Northwest (1959)" to "North by Northwest (1959)". The only change was a capital 'B' to lowercase 'b' in the word 'by'. After this change I rescanned it back to the library, but since then every time I try and play it from the library it says it doesn't exist, and asks if I want to delete it. If I completely delete and re-scan, it picks it up but will again refuse to play telling me it doesn't exist again. If I try to change the artwork, Kodi crashes. This happens every time I try to change it, regardless of what scraper is used (couple of examples below). https://paste.kodi.tv/nexebepowa.kodi https://paste.kodi.tv/wefuhabesu.kodi Looking at he crashlogs I can see it's still referring to the "North By Northwest (1959)" folder that no longer exists. The movie plays fine if I play the file directly via the file manager, but I can find no way to get it to play through the library. I'm using a mysql database for the library, and it may be something to do with this, but that's just a guess. RE: Case sensitivity issue - Hitcher - 2020-11-02 Rename it North By Northwest (1959) and then delete it from the library (being careful not to delete the folder as well). Then rename it North by Northwest (1959) and rescan. Then rename it North by Northwest (1959) and rescanThanks Hitcher, but renaming, deleting from the library, and re-naming again makes no difference. It seems that the database retains some info even after it's been removed. |
