kodi headless again (and again) - succo - 2020-11-28
i saw my old patches for headless kodi (well, not headless, more completely video-less) do not work anymore with the WindowSystemFactory in place, but i'm sure the windowsystem can be adjusted to accept a 'null' window manager which would permit us to use kodi without any video output, so without the memory and processor consumption that rendering a full gui implies, making kodi a daemon in the background still scraping the library without using any gui
I guess i'll try to port the patches as soon as i'll have some spare time, but would like to know if someone else is interested in making it, as i really don't know when (or if) i'll be able to do it
