Kodi Live TV with Hauppauge WinTV-dual HD - mjeshurun - 2020-12-08
Hi friends,
I'm a new Kodi user and I'm running it on Raspberry Pi 4B 4Gb.
Does anyone know if Kodi 18.7 works with the Hauppauge WinTV-dual HD USB dongle to play Live TV on Raspberry Pi OS?

Kodi doesn't directly work with tuners. You can use it though.
1) You need a PVR backend installed (either on the same machine, or else where on the network). A PVR backend like NextPVR will run on a RPi.
2) You need a kodi PVR addon installed, to talk to the backend. Like the NextPVR addon, for talking to the NextPVR backend.
Sounds difficult, but it's not really so bad.
