Can a main menu item be added or changed - Lisbonlion - 2021-01-12
Hi All, newbie here to this site. Not sure if this is the correct support group if not my apologies.
I am wondering if there is a way to change or add a new main menu item? (on the left side side you have a list with movies, tv shows, music, add ons etc) when I click on the add ons menu item it takes me to another menu item with video add ons, music add ons etc etc, at this point under my video add ons are all my kodi add ons ive installed from the repositories.
Some of my add ons are for adults only and when the video add ons are showing on the tv screen, our young children can see the video add ons and I would like to create an adult menu item on the side to store these adult add ons so the kids cannot see or have access to the adult addons.
Can this be done? and if so all help is appreciated. currently running kodi Leia v18.9

Thread moved to the OS independent support section. It wasn't the correct place before
The default skin that Kodi uses doesn't allow for too much by way of customisation, but you can download one of the many different ones available which do. Have a look through some of them and see if there's anything that takes your fancy.
