VLC as backend on Kodi - ciccio01 - 2021-01-29
I am currently using NextPVR as a backend with kodi and all works well, when it works. There are some streams I want that have a separate audio and video stream and Next PVR doesn’t handle them . VLC does
It there a way to use VLC as a backend for Kodi in the same way Next PVR works

The only way is playing VLC as an external player. If you are using windows as a background then no problem but in Linux, it is difficult to get control of video playback.
