Audio Setup Question - Vergil2501 - 2021-03-12 So I'm starting up the process of dumping my BD films and re-encoding them (HEVC) to get put on my NAS. I have a question about the audio. So my current set up is NAS to Shield TV Kodi box to my Onkyo receiver and then TV. When re-encoding these videos should I keep DTS-HD or swap it out with FLAC. Does FLAC keep 5.1 audio? Will kodi or the receiver correctly do the 5.1 audio to my speakers? Does it sound any different? Any useful audio sources I keep, and I get rid of the one(s) I don't need. |
