Refresh button/icon missing from some TV series - m3freak - 2021-03-16
I'm using LibreELEC to run Kodi and have been for years now. While everything seems be working fine, I noticed that when I press "i" on some TV series, the "refresh" button/icon is missing. For other series, it's visible by pressing the right arrow. The ones that display the refresh button/icon, there is an indication to the right of the row of icons that there are more icons. This "indication" is missing for those TV series that I can't refresh.
I noticed the difference when I went to force the refresh of a series that was missing a season poster: the button was missing and the refresh wasn't possible.
Another issue I've had for a long time is cleaning up the library is slow. I couldn't figure out why until I used the debug log and saw that many URLs were timing out during the library clean.
I searched around for solutions to both and found some suggestions:
1. when deleting media, delete from the Kodi library first and then on the storage
2. delete the Textures13.db file which will force a rebuild of it
#2 fixed the slow library clean problem: it's now very fast. #1 and #2 didn't fix the missing refresh button/icon issue. Does anyone know to get the refresh button back?
