add video source with status "watched" - ilf_ - 2021-03-18

I have a video source consisting entirely of movies I already watched.
When adding the source to the library, Kodi sets the status "unwatched" for all movies.
This is great by default.
But is there a way to override this and tell Kodi "every movie from this source get status watched"?

I just thought about this again, would be really great to have that option.
Then I saw I already posted this here. Smile
Anyone?

Not automatically. Using a separate source for (already) watched movies is basically not using the Kodi system correctly. The video database will indicate each video as watched or not, using a separate source will not change that.

One way is to use the context menu and choose "Mark as watched" for the video source. This would have to be repeated with every video that is added.
