turn off kodi volume control? - rounda - 2021-06-09

I have a Firestick remote paired over bluetooth with libreelec. When I press the volume buttons, both the tv and kodi respond. I downloaded key mapper, but I can't remove the volume button bindings. Is there a config file somewhere I can manually edit? I want the volume buttons to only control the TV.

I don't know if this is libreelec specific, but the volume buttons are mapped to Fn keys. When I click "remove," the Fn keys don't clear.

You could map them in the addon, maybe vol up to vol down & vol down to vol up, then grab the gen.xml via SSH and change the action to 'noop' using Notepad.

That's exactly what I was looking for, cool. Appreciate it.
