You are missing a working encoder for format: JPG - stardar - 2021-07-15

Hello,

I have Kodi 19.1 installed on Open ATV 6.5 (Enigma2, kernel Linux 4.4.35). The problem exists after moment when I've installed Netflix Plugin. I don't see any movie cover in plugin or plugin icon.

The log part is:

That device is using a 3rd party unofficial build which the Team has nothing to do with. You will need to see if the issue happens on a device that can use an official build as it could well be an issue with how that build has been made.

Thank You for Your answer. But I have another question: maybe is any chance to replace ffmpg or something in this case? Of course I understand, what You wrote, so I am sorry, if is not the correct place to ask about the problem.

No, ffmpeg is our basis for Kodi. It cannot be just simply replaced with something else.

You might be lucky and there's another user familiar with these builds who can help out, or there might indeed be an issue with some part of Kodi in a particular set of circumstances, so it's ok for you to raise this on our forum. I just wanted to make sure you knew that's it's an unofficial build, which we have no idea how it's been made or what it consists of, so could be missing some dependency for jpeg. So the only way to know if it's some issue in the Kodi code is to try replicating on a device where you can use an official build.

When built properly ffmpeg has working jpeg encoder support.
Your questions and/or support requests should be directed to the people who provided Kodi for your platform - OpenATV developers and package maintainers.
