Weird Issues with Content Scan Duplicating Just 1 Movie - WishItWas1984 - 2021-08-22
Regarding my weird issue. I have roughly 100 or so movies ripped. I scanned them to create NFOs and tweaked them manually. When I set content for the folder, I say the file type is movies but I choose to scan local files only as I wanted to manually curate it all.
However, 1 movie shows duplicate listings. On a brand new scan, I can click it and Kodi will tell me it couldn't find it and asks if I want to remove it. That cleans up the menu, but if I update library when I add new content, it adds a second listing in the menu. If I do it again, a 3rd shows up. If I click them now though, it says there was a problem and I am not given the option of removing it. I basically have to set content fresh to update this particular library.
I have nothing in the folder except the movie, trailer, NFO, folder.jpg, and fanart.jpg. I went line by line in the NFO Ember made. I compared it to another movie that works fine. I can NOT see any difference that would cause Kodi to see it twice.
Anyone have any ideas?

All we have for the moment is generic information. We could use some detailed info to start some investigation.
For starters, providing a debug log (wiki) via a pastebin site will be helpful.
