Apologies But I Cannot Find A Link To Ask Mod's This Question - phaedruspress - 2021-11-12

This forum seems to come closest to where I can ask my question but I know it does not belong here. Any help redirecting my post appreciated. Kodi Player On LG 55" Class - C1 Series - 4K UHD OLED TV. LG webOS. Kodi is my media player of choice which I use on my Android television. I have just found out the Kodi is not available in the LG APP store. There seems to be away to do it through Chromecast.

Any help on where I might post this question or comments on the above method appreciated.

I already moved your thread from the Apple iOS section... Quite interesting that you posted this there.

Secondly, I have a (big) problem with the number of VPN ads on the URL that you shared. I see 5 of them already in the first "page" on my screen, including one saying "best VPN for Kodi". I suggest you first read our VPN policy (wiki), along with the rest of the forum rules (wiki).

I will contact other forum moderators to decide what to do with your post and its URL. I'll be back.

At the time it seemed the closest forum to post this question though in retrospect maybe not so much.

Sorry, you know it did not even register that this came from a VPN website. It was one of the first Google links that popped up when I searched how to get KODI on to an LG television. As mentioned I have no use for using Kodi with a VPN or any addons at all. All I want is the Kodi media player vanilla version to play my media files on my new LG television (webOS) Thanks.

Kodi has no version of Kodi for WebOS, vanilla or otherwise. I suggest you find yourself an external solution for running Kodi, such as a Google TV / Chromecast module, a Firestick or Raspberry Pi 4B, or something similar.
