Modification of Genre - Endamir - 2021-11-27
Hi,
I've got habit to change movie genre trought Chorus interface. Essentially for add specific gender (Like Disney, Christmas,... ) in way to find movie easily.
Now that i've update to 1.9 it seem that i cannot use Chorus to change that anymore for new scapped movies.
Stangelly I can make some change (Change setting, change if a movie has been seen or not,...) but i'am not able to change movie data now.
I'have also possibility to make change to movies scarp before the switch from 1.8 to 1.9. But all new movies cannot be edited.
No error message and nothings in the logs.
Did someone get any information to fix that?

Alternatively, you can install the Metadata Editor addon from the repository and change from there.

Did you see that I h'avent any problem to change movies integrated before my update to 1.9?
I've noticed that i've got "lost websocket connection" when i try to update new movies.
It's really strange and give me some fear above my actual system !
I've check SQL DB but didn't see any difference between old and new line for movies.
I've try Metadata and it's work for what i want to do

I've modified the movie 7077 (Who is a movie who has been added before my migration) without problem.
Then i've try to modified the movies 7598 without succes (Film added after my migration to v19).
Then i've change movie 7598 from unsee to see without problem.

What are you changing? How are you changing it? Please provide details of exact steps and changes. I see you have nfo files, maybe this is interfering with your changes as the nfo file is being reloaded?

Problem strangely disapear.
I've activated Debug Mode, then kodi has crashed (few second after).
I've relauch Kodi and now everithings work again in Kodi and chorus.
Hope it's definitive ^^
