Bug report - missing option for semicolon in standard QWERTY keyboard - arnholt - 2021-12-04
When trying to input a password for a SAMBA field using the on-screen keyboard, there is no option for a semicolon. Both the lowercase and uppercase fields show a colon; I feel this should only be true for the uppercase field. There is no way to input a semicolon. I think this is an error. Developers, am I missing something? Apologies if so. Thanks much.

You're right. Will ask if there's a reason.
In the meantime you can hack it into system\keyboardlayouts\english.xml in your Kodi installation if you need it.

Update: Problem is confirmed, PR opened for Kodi 20 and 19 to fix 20642 (PR)
