How to manually match mismatching M3U and EPG channel names? - tonyrulez - 2021-12-22
Hi,
I'm using the IPTV function of KODI as the following:
Channels are pulled with IPTV Manager from an addon that lists online TV channels
EPG is pulled from an online xml
My problem is that there are mismatching channel names. For instance the channel name is HBO 2 in the addon, and HBO2 in the EPG. Since there is no match EPG doesn't show up for this channel. Since I have no control over the names of the sources (them being pulled from addon and online), all I can do is rename the channel name in the channel list, however it doesn't have any affect on the EPG showing up. Is there any way to match these channels? I would do it manually, it's just a couple of channels, but I don't know how.
