create a movie set WITHIN a movie set? - R.O.H. - 2021-12-23

Would be great but I'm not sure it's possible. Maybe someone knows a way.

For example I have created a tag 'Tis The Season. 

In there I have movies with focus Family, Comedy and Love.

I can create pseudo movie sets so they are not all mixed into one place. So far so good.

But once I create a pseudo movie set, say Comedy, I can't have another movie set inside Comedy. For example the Home Alone collection. They will be just side by side, not inside a set.

Is there a way around it?

You mean you created a Movie Set, not a Tag? Two different things.

Kodi can't have nested Sets. Movies can be in one set only.

You should be using Tags instead.... https://kodi.wiki/view/Video_library_tags

You can create Tags then, depending which skin you are using, add them as a main- or sub-menu item. Then you can access your tags and movie sets will be visible inside the tag listings.

I have created TAGS, not movie sets...

I would have liked a nested movie set option. 

But a NESTED TAG option is what I am actually looking for. 

Should be possible, right?

No, not possible to have a tag inside a tag.
Doesn't my example do the same thing? Maybe I misunderstood the required outcome.
