Turning off remote volume control - Balcmeg - 2021-12-25
HI,
I run my KODI on a Vero 4k+ and OSMC, connected to a DAC through USB. I do not use any surround receiver and only play music (FLAC, mp3, ALAC) and movie sound in stereo through the DAC.
Is there any way to set audio output in stereo as a pure pass-through, or at least to "lock" the volume control so that it won't be possible to change volume from the remote control apps in iPhone, or the veros remote?

I don’t think you can lock out the remotes, but you could use Audio Profiles to set the volume to max at startup and any time music is playing. Or even set it to max for every trigger. That way at least it would be at max almost all the time.
