CBC Olympics Addon - barney63 - 2022-01-06 @fourpointsix I did a search to see if there was already a thread for this and didn't see one so I started a new thread. If there is one, mods please merge this thread into it. Just checking to see if the CBC Olympics addon (Kodi Repo) will be updated for the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics Thanks RE: CBC Olympics Addon - barney63 - 2022-02-02 @fourpointsix The CBC Olympics addon has been updated. Mine updated automatically from the Kodi Repo. It should start working as events start today, haven't been able to test it yet but will advise, likely later today. The CBC Sports addon also seems to have all events scheduled. A few weeks back it only seemed to have the main network's morning, afternoon, and evening package shows, but all events are in the Live Schedule now. I will report on that as well. Thanks fourpointsix for the update and thanks jbinkley60 for the CBC Sports addon that will hopefully have all the events as well. RE: CBC Olympics Addon - barney63 - 2022-02-02 @fourpointsix All is well, addon is working great RE: CBC Olympics Addon - barney63 - 2022-02-02 @fourpointsix Running into a couple of errors with the addon. Getting a Playback failed error on videos in the Replay section (including Flag Bearer announcement video that had opened earlier) The server did not return a valid stream please try again later Also in the Sports Menu/Curling getting the following error The server has denied the request. This is typically due to geoblocking. Be sure that you're on a Canadian IP address I am in Canada RE: CBC Olympics Addon - emveepee - 2022-02-02 This is a great addon for sure. I can play the flag-bearer replay is ok as is the Curling section (also in Canada) Maybe your are running a VPN? Martin RE: CBC Olympics Addon - barney63 - 2022-02-02 No, I'm in Canada, all is fine now. I think I may have been having an issue with my modem, I restarted the PC and all is well. RE: CBC Olympics Addon - djemob - 2022-02-03 Hi @fourpointsix The Add-on for Kodi 18 doesn't work. It can't install. i think the problem was related to structure. Can you please check on this? Thanks RE: CBC Olympics Addon - kodaksmith - 2022-02-06 Thank you @fourpointsix. The updated v2.2.0 add-on for Kodi 18 (Leia) works great on my Raspberry Pi. RE: CBC Olympics Addon - barney63 - 2022-02-06 Original CBC Olympics Addon thread is here Development > Add-ons > WIP - CBC Olympics addon (geo-blocked to Canada) RE: CBC Olympics Addon - barney63 - 2024-07-23 @fourpointsix Would someone be able to have a look at the CBC Olympics addon from the Kodi Repo. Also found at CBC Olympics addon (geo-blocked to Canada) thread at this forum Thanks RE: CBC Olympics Addon - barney63 - 2024-08-01 @fourpointsix fourpointsix has fixed the CBC Olympics addon, now version 2.3.1 plugin.video.cbcolympics.2.3.1.kodi19-21.zip (at the bottom of the page) RE: CBC Olympics Addon - barney63 - 2025-02-01 @fourpointsix @micahg @jbinkley60 With the CBC playing with their streams, and the demise of the CBC Sports addon, I have noticed that the CBC TV (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) addon has some CBC Sports streams included in the Live Channels section. ![]() Is there a way to incorporate those latest streams into the CBC Olympics addon. I noticed that the streams in the CBC Olympics addon seem to work and almost act like the streams that were in the Archive section of the CBC Sports addon. Would it be possible to add those new streams to the Live Now and Upcoming Section of the CBC Olympics addon and fork it off as a new CBC Sports addon and the Olympics addon could stay the way it is until the next Olympics. Also if that is not possible, @fourpointsix, could you add the date to the stream, along with the event length that is already there at the bottom right of the screen similar to the TVO addon. ![]() That way we could tell if it is new and watch it as close to live as possible. Thanks, hope that made some sense. |
