Kodi 20 >> Logging Terror - Nachteule - 2022-01-10

Hi,

for about three days i have been getting an error on the console followed by a kodi crash

Jan 10 19:48:00: [*** LOG ERROR #0001 ***] [2022-01-10 19:48:00] [general] {argument not found}
Segmentation fault

this message is really as pointless as a carrot if you don't know which log message it is supposed to be.
So how can you isolate something like this?

This happens a few seconds after a video is started, after a few seconds it is stopped again.
A build from the 8th does not yet show this behaviour (neither the segfault nor the error message on the console)

Linux (XBian - Debian Bullseye) Raspberry Pi4 and common mysql database

Thanks

Kodi 20 is pre alpha state. So, thanks for reporting, but you should expect bad things to happen in this state of the dev cycle.

So, I consider words like „terror“ and „pointless as a carrot“ as inappropriate. If you need something stable, stick with Matrix release version.
