Kodi Screen Reader still working? - stas-prze - 2022-01-22
I'm blind and wanted to try using kodi again.
I did use it on my Raspberry Pi and on PC about 2 years ago, and installed the screen reader with both sighted help and remembering where the option was and hoping I clicked the right one.
I installed Kodi on Windows today, and I found out that there is a kodi screen reader setup file on the github page for it so I installed it but got no speech.
I tried manually installing the addon with the addons manager using the steps I used a couple years ago but it didn't work, and by using NVDA OCR in the downloads menu I didn't see it either.
Is the screen reader dead or did I do something wrong?
