Transfer xml file from Mac to ATV 4K - lakinen69 - 2022-01-29

Hello, is there a way to transfer edited xml file from skin (Titan Bingie Mod) to my Apple TV 4K?

I've already tried to back up and restore skin settings from Mac to Apple TV and it didn't work. I also tried to copy xml file to several available locations through File Manager - no luck there also.

Is there a way to browse Addons folder through Kodi (as far as I can see, there is only Profile Directory option, and Addons are not stored there) on Apple TV4k, so I can replace that xml file?

you can use Xcode to download full app data, then replace the xml file you need and upload the app data back

Yes, but the trouble is that I would have to do it every time after the skin update, because my modifications to that file will be overwritten. I was hoping that there is a way to access skin folder and just replace that one xml file without installing the entire skin from scratch.

Would it be possible to download only segments with Xcode, and not the entire app data? Let's say Addons folder where skin is located and then restore just that one xml file?

Unfortunately no. The only way I could find so far to browse Kodi folders and modify any files is to use ''Download / Replace Container'' method in Xcode and by that it downloads the entire app data as a '.xcappdata file ' and then modify/change any file inside it and put back (Replace) the file into Kodi. That's also so annoying for me because it takes a bit long time according to your Kodi app data's size.
