KODI to play from DLNA / UPNP unfinalised files - SJK-ST MARY - 2022-02-10 This relates to accessing a PVR (Fetch). My suggestion is to have DLNA or PNP access to play in 'real' time through KODI. VLC can do this easily. (But it's very small text on a laptop - hard to read) KODI is very good at displaying files to pick from but only plays finalized or closed files. I'm accessing my Fetch PVR through KODI and VLC. On a PC /Laptop VLC can play it as it's being recorded on Fetch. KODI can't. Can this feature be added? However Fetch might not be streaming the same way, or if this request is for recordings, the long time issue with Kodi not rereading the content-length on growing files via http could be at play.
