Geoff Gavora Threatened using KODI. - CHLC - 2022-02-19
Hello All,
I am posting this message regarding that I have been threatened by Geoff Gavora, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. His Phone number is *REMOVED BY MODERATOR* for using KODI and repairing and fixing old crappy extremely out dated RAW Boxes, RAW Mini. Please see attached screenshots for more information.

Kodi is not his neither his software and he knows anything about how to program or write any software. Geoff ripped off his customers by showing Real-Debrid movies but never ever disclose this to all this to his customers. Geoff Gavora is *BLEEP* and scammers
. Geoff shut down his raw boxes business long time ago and just *BLEEP-ing* you. Kodi administrator will post something for better advise and I will supports you for this *BLEEP* scammer. Geoff Gavora is trying to scammed Kodi groups by registering trademarks on his country so what.
Kodi is old XBMC and its FREEWARE!

Thank you for your link and I live in that same city Calgary, Alberta. Geoff Gavora and his lawyers can find me easily and file the Statement of Claim. I am nightmare for him and his law firm. Geoff Gavora accused me selling RAW Mini boxes without his authorization and selling fake RAW mini boxes which was wrong accusations in his text message. This was his mistakes and cost him his life savings. I have been defrauded by TD Canada Trust bank and lost my entirely life savings but I am not a thief or fraudster, We are waiting for the investigation outcome, criminal investigation and class action lawsuit is on going.

I'm sure he has not but just to clarify, he has not trademarked a different Kodi software product in Canada? That is has he really registered this specific Kodi software in Canada and seriously think that it would be legally binding to register a trademark for a product that you do not own?

Seriously doubt that a trademark troll would win in any court trial if their argument is that he trademarked a software that he did not make himself. It would be like trademarking "Microsoft" in a country they forgot to register first in and thinking that would get you exclusive rights.
The name "Kodi" could of course be used as long as it does not refer to this specific Kodi. So could trademark "Kodi Logistics" or "Kodi Accounting" and stop people from infringing on that specific product name/logo that you honesty made yourself.
Or does Canadian laws allow you to trademark just the name "Kodi" for the software category in Canada without actually making a product named Kodi and then legally stop others in Canada from distributing any software with Kodi in its name?
Regardless, neither he or you are legally allowed to use this Kodi's trademarks, wordmarks or logos without permission in advertising or as part of any commercial product for retail sale, promotion or distribution, etc.:

I really appreciate it and thank you I will be challenging Geoff Gavora into Court Trail when he and his law firm proceed, and I don't think I am going to bend over and kiss is ass and make settlement or afraid of his Dumb trolls.
