Start movies directly when clicking on the movie in the playlist on Home Android Tv - Andrea1998 - 2022-06-01
Is it possible to start a movie directly from the android tv home (shield tv home) in the smart playlist section without entering the movie in the information tab?
(the movies are in the kodi library, and organized through the smart playlists that are then seen on the android tv home)

Maybe I explained myself wrong.
Normally:
in the home of android tv if you have created the smart playlists and enabled in the settings, they appear in the android tv home, if you press on it, kodi opens and opens the selected movie as an info tab, and then press play.
if it is possible, instead of opening the info tab, I would like that as soon as you press on the movie from the android tv home screen (in the playlst) kodi opens and the fim starts directly without pressing "play".

NO, in other skin, I press ok and the video does not start. (but open kodi and open the movie info tab).
I don't mean inside kodi, but outside, on the android tv home screen.

"play" is already set by default, already checked.

i don't know if you have android tv, but i would like to ask you if you have android tv to try:
(if you have smart playlists (created by kodi) in the android tv home) try to press on a movie and see what happens.

How can i start a movie automatically (without pressing play in the movie tab) on the smart playlists in the android tv home?
Within kodi by pressing on a movie, the movie starts automatically, but outside kodi in the android tv home, if I press on a movie (present in the smart playlists created by kodi and visible in the home) kodi opens but me opens the movie in an info tab, and I have to press play.
is it possible, instead of opening the info tab, that the film started immediately?
Summing up:
within kodi the film starts immediately without problems.
outside of kodi (therefore in the home of android tv) in a playlist (created with kodi), if I press on a movie, kodi starts and then goes to the info tab of the movie. (without the possibility of starting it directly).
Anyone with an android tv can try it.
is it possible to do this somehow also by editing an .xml file?

I guess that is part of the android "leanback" interface. I don't know how that works.
