amd 690g (x1250) video issue - katjaboelie - 2008-09-07

using xbmc-atlantis 4a (1 sept 08)
experience ghosting with video playback
also when stopping video everything is garbled
and when quitting xbmc it seems to crash
the following "fix" does not work
*****UserData/advancedsettings.xml

<advancedsettings>
<glrectanglehack>yes</glrectanglehack>
</advancedsettings>

my system (notebook)
amd tk55 (amd 690g) x1250
2gb vhp sp1

Using XBMC on my xbox since 2006

green screen - katjaboelie - 2008-09-08

update
the hack does take care of the ghosting but it seem that the
problem is now a green screen with a magnified red color haze on top
the color scheme seems out of sync as some old broken tv's do
please help

update
the crash issue is resolved by turning of the rss feeds as metioned in other threads
video is still not working although adding the rectangle hack in the platform directories en starting xbmc thru install or the
start XBMC with -p option
when closing the video screen (with x) the fonts are garbled and the pointer is a white square

Check that your gui res is equal to your video res.
