Hotkey for playing trailer in Auramod? - WarSpaz - 2022-07-24 Is it possible to set up a keyboard key to play the trailer without the need of going in to info and then "play trailer"? I know of the "down" key, but this wont help if you got more than one widget in a row. I would like to make a hotkey to lets say the "T" key on my keyboard that starts the trailer inside of the skin. Best regards RE: Hotkey for playing trailer in Auramod? - jojobro - 2023-01-17 There is No Hotkey for Trailer playback within AuraMod(orAuraAFAIK) But I honestly, think this is totally possible. AFAIK, you could keymap the function to play the trailer based on the selected widget's string, and show notification if null. I just don't know the code for the trailer stuff. This is also really similar to this github issue: Add "down key starts trailer" functionality to hubs #265 https://github.com/SerpentDrago/skin.auramod/issues/265 You might want to check it out, and keep your eye on it because there is also these other another issues: [Feature Request] Add auto-play trailer for homescreen widgets https://github.com/SerpentDrago/skin.auramod/issues/187 Auto Trailer Homescreen Feature? https://github.com/SerpentDrago/skin.auramod/issues/262 And a lot of talk about the viability of having an automatic hompage trailer window like netflix. But having it be a hotkey, solves those issues. ..well not really though.. The real issue was the strain caused to the video sources which would have to now constantly serve that data automatically. And if it was coded to have some type of limit, because it would realistically have to, people could easily change that since 99.999% of the work was done. So that feature request has been in limbo for a while. So yeah I think this is a great idea, it's just not implemented(yet). |
