How to make subtitles always on in Live TV? - TyroneHS - 2022-09-29 I'm having some problems leaving subtitles always on, especially on Live TV with Tvheadend. Problem: some subtitles come with acronyms different from my language "pt_BR", some come with the acronym "pt_br" for example. For this reason, the default subtitles setting does not remain enabled, especially on Live TV where the subtitles of some channels arrive with the acronym "und" - relative to "undefined". What I want: I would like the subtitles to always be activated on Live TV, regardless of the acronym, because it's very bad to have to activate the subtitles every time I change the channel, and the worst part, some channels lose the subtitle setting when go to break. I would also like to be able to include some acronyms for the Portuguese Brazil language as well, but I don't know where the file that makes these links is. Of course, if this is something allowed by the Kodi development team. For example, I would like to relate the acronyms "und", "pt_br" and "ptbr" to Portuguese Brazil. What I've already tried: - Enable subtitles in the "subtitles" section of the OSD and going to the "Video" section in the OSD and selecting "default for all media". - Set the default subtitle language to the interface language. I know I'm asking in the video session, but as I explained, the problem goes beyond Live TV. My configuration: - Nvidia Shield TV 2019 - Kodi 18.9 |
