Subtitle position broken with 16:9 videos - Infiniti Z - 2023-01-02
Setting subtitles to fixed and using the ctrl + up/down shortcut doesn’t actually move the subtitles, even though the visual tool and numbers change. Using the ctrl + t shortcut either moves the subtitles to the top or the bottom of the screen but none of the modes lets me position the subtitles. What’s going on here? I’m on 19.5.

Which OS are you referring to here? Which subtitles settings regarding location did you enable?

I tried the same thing again, and now it’s worked somehow? Does it matter if you start with ctrl+up or ctrl+down perhaps? Different functions?

I don't know, I never really fumble with subtitles. I set them to "Below the video" and that is my fav-and-forget setting.
