Kodi 19.3 Matrix stopped playing half of my video library - trejder - 2023-01-02
Either I am blind or nothing has changed in the configuration of my Kodi (19.3 Matrix on-board Android 11) and suddenly the player started to play any half of my library.
Instead of showing a media summary screen (from which I could select to play the movie, see the trailer etc.) it now shows me the "Enter the movie name" box instead.
What can I do to stop this / revert this and regain control of my player, so I'll be able to play every movie again? Thank you.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.
If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)
In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.
Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

However, this one thing you are writing above I will most likely not be able to do. I am running Kodi on my digital TV company-provided TV box and I have absolutely no access to its (Android) source files. Neither through SSH, FTP or by any other mean (other than using remote controller). I am also pretty sure that the system itself isn't even rooted or jailbroken. Sorry.
