How to edit an existing source - trejder - 2023-01-02 I am pretty sure that whenever I long-press an OK button on any source in my 19.3 Matrix / Android 11 / Android TV box, I saw a menu where I could easily delete or edit any source. Now, no such thing exists. I have many sources invalid (due to change of file/folder structure on NAS) and I cannot do anything with them, because I cannot access "update" or "modify" commands (menu items) for each such source. Any time I am trying to long-press any source name, Kodi immediately tries to access such source and hits me with some error message (usually about source or destination not being available or accessible). What can or should I do in this situation? Thank you. RE: How to edit an existing source - Atreyu - 2023-01-04 Maybe use 'c' or assign 'c' to a remote button and use that if no keyboard lying around. RE: How to edit an existing source - trejder - 2023-01-05 Thanks for trying to help. The "C" button on my remote (as good as "A", "B" and "D") does not bring any context menu or anything that could allow me to edit a source. In my case it switches between: PVR (A), Videos (B), Music videos © and Audio (D). RE: How to edit an existing source - trejder - 2023-01-05 This post says: Quote:(...) context menu (long press or whatever button you have assigned to the context menu, or c on keyboard or right click on mouse) (...)Where and how can I re-define controls at my remote control? How can I assign some other button to my context menu? I think I went through the entire configuration in "expert" mode and found nothing about re-defining keys on my remote control. RE: How to edit an existing source - trejder - 2023-08-02 Long-pressing OK turned out to be working on my only device. All others fails to bring context menu and instead either opens source (Enter, OK, left mouse click) or exits back (right mouse click). Hard to believe that a vital options (like removing source, editing it, re-scrapping it) are hidden in a context menu that is so hard to access. |
