How to disable loading CEC library completely? - baza_dwa - 2023-05-13
Due to problems with CEC handling in Kodi, I would like to use cec-tray application from Pulse Eight USB-CEC adapter to control Kodi. When Kodi starts, it loads cec library (regardless of enabled/disabled setting in its configuration), which disables cec-tray.
I cannot just delete the cec library (cec.dll in my case) as Kodi fails to start if it is not present (also substituting simple fake dll fails, as apparently Kodi always executes some CEC library functions).
Is there any way to make Kodi ignore missing cec.dll/not load it at all?
