Codec problem - CronosTitan - 2023-06-05
I have mp4 files that only play sound but not vid. This is the log. Can I play it without conversion?

full logs only please, with that log i can only speculate that you are using some variety of linux or pi based on 1 single line containing "Using device /dev/video10"

i see the issue
you are trying to play 4k h264 content when the system doesnt support it - see here https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/3484
conversely pi doesnt support hardware acceleration for hevc so even that codec is going to limit your playback to around 720p in order for it to play properly
next time try not to make people guess when you are asking for help

correction, im only aware that libreelec does not support hevc video acceleration on versions beyond 9.2.x - other software may be possible, i have no knowledge beyond libreelec
