Accidentally deleted 'Movies' from video library - rama3124 - 2023-07-22

Hi
I run Arctic Horizon 2 skin and had my home menu customized to have tabs for Movies and TV shows that linked to my NAS via SMB. My NAS went temporarily down last night and when i clicked onto the movies menu, it said something like "smb://movies could not be found, would you like to remove it from library?" and i accidentally clicked yes. Now my NAS is back up, so the TV menu works fine but the movies menu has disappeared. When i attempted to add it back, i can't seem to find the Movies folder in my Video library. I can manually navigate to the movies folder via file manager, or in other words, the movies folder of my NAS still shows up under sources but under the Video Library, it only has TV shows instead of movies. Anyone know how to add the Movies category back to my video library? TIA

You'll probably need to set the content to your root movie folder, and rescrape your movie collection once more.
Whenever your NAS or any other sources have some sort of issue, don't mess with the video library.

Alternatively, it's always a good idea to make regular backups of your Kodi database(s).
