kodi-pvr-hts ubuntu lunar package missing from official kodi repository - Miles8of9 - 2023-08-19

As subject, kodi-pvr-hts package is missing from official Kodi Lunar Ubuntu repo. (https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/team-xbmc/ppa/ubuntu lunar main)
It was available on Kodi repo for Kinetic and it used to run fine.

It looks like only kodi is in the lunar ppa no binaries.

The teamkodi PPA is not currently being maintained. Don't expect that to change anytime soon. So any new branches are extremely unlikely to be populated for the foreseeable future

So i should remove official Kodi repository and use the one maintained by my distro...?

it's your machine, do what works for you

if the ubuntu maintained PPA offers what you need, use that, i dont think you need to be told how to manage your own system

Is there a supported way to install Kodi on Ubuntu then?

Supported by whom?  Ubuntu and Debian or Team Kodi?

That would be directly contradicted by https://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_Kodi_for_Linux#Installing_Kodi_on_Ubuntu-based_distributions_with_Team_Kodi_PPA

the kodi ppa is not being maintained currently and hasn't been for a while, near future it probably won't be either

so, i will not recommend something that is not being maintained

Then you already have your answer from @Fuzzard and like users of other distro's  have always been doing you are going to use the Ubuntu version.   It doesn't stop you from positing here here or raising issues on GitHub.
