Does hiding groups cut down on the load in IPTV Simple? - stuckinthehome - 2023-12-03
Does hiding groups cut down on the load in IPTV Simple with regards to merging epg with the m3u. For just an example, say my m3u8 has 1000 channels will hiding multiple groups that cut the list to say 500 reduce the load that IPTV Simple has to do or does it just merge the m3u with epg and then hide the results. Just trying to decide if I want to sed a file or if hiding will suffice.

If you set explicit groups to load in the addon settings it will. But if you hide the group in the kodi interface it will not.
