Any suggestions for how to get TMDB/Python to recognize Elvira's Move Macabre ? - Tjoe70s - 2024-02-06
Hello.
I have a brand new install of KODI (20.3) and using TMDB/Python (but had the same problem in my old KODI 15 using either TMDB or Universal).
I have 6 movies from Elvira's Movie Macabre, and none of them will add to the database (using normal video update). I use the Missing Movie list and can see them there. I thought maybe the scraper didn't like the apostrophes in the names, so I removed them from one of the movies and updated - but it still shows up in the Missing Movies list.
I checked that the titles are spelled correctly and they match IMDB.
Any suggestions on how to get them in? I suppose I could build a NFO file (if I really have to), but would prefer they scrape in.

they classify it as a tv show https://www.themoviedb.org/search?query=Elviras%20Movie%20Macabre
(or it's just not in their database if that result isn't correct)
fwiw you shouldn't research on imdb when you're actually using tmdb

Tks - I'll move one to my TB source and see if that works.
huh - never thought of going to tmdb as a site (I don't recall seeing it even show up in my regular search results). I'll give that a try too.

Nope, didn't work. I have the name formatted the same as I do all of my other TV shows (Elvira's Movie Macabre S01E36.iso) but it doesn't show up after updating the library. The name is the same at TMDB and at TVDB.
Thoughts?

I assume you have a tvshow folder with S01E36 inside that?
