Embedded metatags not working - Gdx_01 - 2024-03-30 Hi. I simply can't make Kodi use the embedded metadata. I have a big collection of family home-made videos I tagged using MetaZ (they are all mp4 videos) and I followed the indications on https://kodi.wiki/view/Video_file_tagging and activated "Use video tags" in the settings. Also, I have set up the video source to only use local information. Still, no media is found when scanning. Am I missing something? Things I have tested/tried so far: - My plan is to use Kodi on an Android TV box, but I installed Kodi on a mac to test if the problem was the Androind TV Kodi app, but I got the same result...no media found - If I add nfo files to the folder, the media is found without a problem (but I'd really really prefer that Kodi used the embedded metatags) - The metatags are read by VLC and Plex without a problem - I deleted all the metadata on 1 video except for the "Title"...still didn't work I really want this to work, so any help would be appreciated. |
